Abstract: Hydrogen is the fuel of the future. It is clean, renewable, and secure. But, implementation of this trillion-dollar industry is stalled by the lack of a suitable product for hydrogen storage. The International Center for Applied Nanotechnology, ICAN, has developed a unique material for low-pressure hydrogen storage. Our product outperforms today?s best metal-hydrides and shows potential to meet US Department of Energy gravimetric hydrogen storage goals. Our other products include highly active catalysts for preparation of carbon nanotubes, carbon nanotubes of various dimensions, carbon nanofibers, nanoscale carbon beads, and high surface area activated carbons, as well as value-added products such as nanocarbon supported catalysts, nanotube arrays for electrode and field emission applications, and custom fabricated electrodes. Scalable, proprietary processes and low costs at our manufacturing unit allow us to offer high quality products at surprisingly affordable rates.
