Abstract: Semasopht exploits new mathematical results in the field of graph theory, obtained at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich by Dr. Pascal Vallotton. On that basis, Semasopht produces and distributes DiaTrack, a groundbreaking software for reliably tracking thousands of moving objects across time-lapse image sequences. DiaTrack ideally addresses pressing needs in high-growth life science segments, including drug discovery, diagnostics and research to understand and quantify the dynamics of moving particles in biological cells or on surfaces. This allows in particular measuring the impact of candidate drugs or of other treatments on a solid statistical basis. We feel that DiaTrack will also become a central tool to understand how the structures so important for nanotechnology are assembling. This should help optimising manufacturing processes in rational ways. DiaTrack is ideally suited to generating trajectories of moving particles in microfluidic channels, with the purpose of characterizing fluid flows, or of monitoring changes undergone by these particles along the flow.
