Abstract:
Evolved Nanomaterial Sciences fabricates novel, smart nanomaterials using up a bottom-up methodology. The process and design of our molecular nanotechnology form the core materials platform with which we address immediate needs and specific applications. The first market we have targeted is chiral separations which are an integral step in pharmaceutical discovery and purification. Drugs manufactured with this technique represent a $170 billion market annually. The company was formed after many years of research at the Tufts Chemical and Biological Engineering Departments and has recently moved into its first laboratory in Boston.
