NanoTech 2004

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2004--Biophan Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: BIPH) an innovator, developer and marketer of MRI-related and other advanced biomedical technology, announced today that it will present at the Nanotech 2004 Conference being held March 7-9, 2004, at the Boston Sheraton Hotel in Boston, MA. Michael Weiner, Biophan's CEO, will present at the Nanotech Early Stage Industry Review at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2004.

Biophan's technologies include filtering, shielding, coating, imaging, and photonic solutions to both MRI safety and MRI image compatibility. NanoView(TM), Biophan's newest technology, will utilize nanomagnetic particles as contrast agents that preferentially bind to tissues of diagnostic interest, creating improved detail and contrast in images. Mr. Weiner will give an overview of this recently acquired technology and other nanotechnology capabilities that may influence the biomedical device industry in the near future.
