NSTI and iMediasoft launch NANOPOLIS Nanotech Virtual Showcase
NSTI and iMediasoft to provide nanotech companies with the most efficient communication channel to present their technology through virtual representations.
Boston, MA and Meylan, France - January 13, 2004 - NSTI, an interdisciplinary, technology resource enabling the Nano-Bio-Micro technology business effected sectors, and iMediasoft Group, a provider of advanced communications of new technologies, today announced the launch of the NANOPOLIS Nanotechnology Virtual Showcase.
Matthew Laudon, NSTI's Executive Director of Nanotechnology, remarked, "The objective is to provide nanotech companies with the most efficient communication channel to present their technology through virtual representations. Virtual representations transpose the essence of your most complex technological processes into highly intuitive computer-generated movies."
"iMediasoft is pleased to bring this technology to companies in the nanotechnology field. Existing customers include major microelectronics corporations as well as leading synchrotron light facilities and neutrons installations", said Dan Bog, iMediasoft's Director.
Communication channels: technologies exhibited through the Nanotech Virtual Showcase will be displayed continuously on numerous big screens distributed centrally at Nanotech 2004.
In addition, the computer-generated presentations will be included in the upcoming Exploring Nanotechnology multimedia encyclopedia, as well as on the Nanopolis (www.nanopolis.net) and the NSTI-Nanotech 2004 (www.nanotech2004.com) web sites.
By participating in the Nanotech Virtual Showcase, nanotechnology companies will be able to convey their message even if they are not physically present at Nanotech 2004. In addition to the companies' presentations, the best papers presented at nanotech will be transposed into virtual representations.
