Biography

Sassan Zaker joined Julius Bär Asset Management in 2004 as Head Alternative Products and Advisory. Previously he was head Alternative Investments at Swissca Portfolio Management. Before Swissca he managed equities and derivatives portfolios at Finfunds Management AG for 5 years. He spent the first 5 years of his investment career with UBS trading and sales in various quantitative and risk management positions including developing fixed income derivates trading models, and neutral network based market forecasting.

Dr. Zaker has a Masters Degree in Engineering from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), a Ph.D in Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
