Dr. Richard W. Brotzman, Vice President of Research & Development at Nanophase, earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College of Pennsylvania, M.S. in Engineering Applied Science from University of California, Davis, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Washington. With over fifteen years of research and applications development in the field of nanotechnology, Dr. Brotzman’s background encompasses leadership positions with Nanophase Technologies Corporation and PDA Engineering, TPL, Inc.

Dr. Brotzman’s career has been highlighted by success in research and new product development as well as technical and strategic management. As an inventor of Nanophase’s surface treatment, dispersion, and applications technologies, Dr. Brotzman continues to be a key innovator and contributor to technological advances.
